Rules of Conduct
In force from 6 November 2026.
Crit Happens is more fun when everyone can enjoy it. These rules are part of the Terms of Service.
Be decent to other players
- No harassment, bullying, threats or stalking, in chat, mail or anywhere else in the game.
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar.
- No sexually explicit or extremely violent content, and nothing at all that sexualises minors.
- Don't share anyone's personal information (real name, address, photos, contact details), yours included.
- Fighting other players is part of the game in PvP areas. Following someone around just to make their game miserable isn't.
Play fair
- No cheats, hacks, bots, macros or modified game files.
- Don't exploit bugs. If you find one, report it: that helps everyone.
- No trading items, gold, characters or accounts for real money.
- Don't attack, overload or probe the servers.
Names and messages
- Character and guild names must follow these rules: nothing offensive, and no pretending to be someone else, including game masters.
- No spam, advertising, or links to scams or harmful sites.
Game masters
Game masters keep the game running and fair. Follow their instructions in the game. Never give your password to anyone: game masters will never ask for it.
What happens if rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is: a warning, being muted, removal of names or messages, a temporary suspension, or deletion of the account. Threats of violence or anything involving the abuse of children may be reported to the police. To report a player or appeal a decision, write to contact@crithappensgame.online.
